The presence of fauna introduced into the Space means an ecological problem of great magnitude which is detrimental to the state of conservation of the collection of autochthonous species, both of fauna and of flora.
The goat (Capra aegagrus hircus)

Many of the endangered species included in the project can be found in the traditional grazing regions which, though not practised today, persists in some areas and is responsible for the presence of feral goats, which exert a negative influence on them and other taxons through their constant grazing, the damage from which is accentuated in the first stages of species development.
The feral cat (Felis catus)
The depredation of endangered bird species such as the Blue Chaffinch by cats has been argued to be an important factor in the decline of its population. Even if they were not a fundamental part of its diet, the effect on the Blue Chaffinch population could be considerable if it is considered along with the depredation practised by other autochthonous species.
The rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus)
The effect of rabbits on the majority of endangered plant species in the area is astounding, in that it impedes regeneration and recolonization of new territory, making it responsible for damage to repopulated forests and conservation schemes.
